Atan

BIO
Atan is an endless source of fascinating confusion - usually for others, but sometimes for himself, too. Irreverent, unfiltered, and unfailingly sincere, Atan occupies his time with wood-carving, board game design, and keeping others company while he hides from his own unfinished business. He rises to a significant role when he's called upon for a task that only he can accomplish. He's the only immortal to know the true history of the entire group, and is just as likely to dispense shocking new information as witty off-the-wall remarks. Despite his odd tendencies, he's valuable and trustworthy, and usually finds a way to help with any crisis - especially the ones of his own making.
PAST
He was the prototype immortal, the very first one created. When he was eventually set free in the world, he attempted to make his way through life, took on the skill of Chinese wood carving, and left a trail of finely crafted art and entertaining chaos in his path. Somewhere, many centuries ago, he met up again with Kestor, who's equally eccentric and brilliant but in more scientific ways, and became counterparts. Atan has always struggled with grasping the nuances of human social skills, but he does his best to learn, and he's managed to keep in touch with a small handful of his immortal friends over the years.
POWERS AND ABILITIES
Atan has super-speed abilities, which he usually uses to accomplish tasks quickly and make more time for himself to do his art. He owns a carving multi-tool that can morph into different kinds of blades and tools. In addition, he's fourth-wall-aware - he knows the true history of the immortals, which very few others do. He remembers bits and pieces of that era, though his memory is nearly as bad as every other immortal. He's extraordinarily smart, but his mind works very differently than most.
DESIGN NOTES: Primary
Atan's outfit style is lively and vibrant but a little offbeat, just like him. He prefers short-sleeved jackets and arm and leg wraps, which make his super speed abilities a bit more comfortable to use. His socks and shoes are also very distinctive and closely fitted along his muscular lower legs. The patterns on his clothes are Chinese prints. His outfit includes an optional apron with his wood-carving tools, matched in the same red/blue/green color palette.
DESIGN NOTES: Alternate
This outfit's silhouette and style is highly similar to the main outfit - he's very consistent in his looks - but has a certain flair all its own. The colors are distributed differently, but the same design elements remain (short-sleeved jacket, arm/leg wraps, fitted boots, Chinese prints), which are signature style elements for him.
DESIGN NOTES: Alternate 2
This is a fun athletic-type casual outfit for Atan. Like all his outfits, it features protective arm and leg wraps, and is styled in his signature red/green/blue. It’s not very complicated in its design, but it’s flattering. The pattern on his top is a Chinese lucky dragon print, and his shoes are made of several distinctive and eye-catching metallic fabrics.
DESIGN NOTES: Defining Traits
Atan's palette is desaturated red, green, and blue. He usually wears short-sleeved or sleeveless tops, and his silhouette is very distinctive with forearm and thigh wraps or guards and closely fitted lower-leg styles. Aside from the wraps/guards, individual outfit design elements can be added or removed, as long as the overall style impression of his outfit remains similar.
